ESA Selects 10MICRON for Space Technology Harmonisation plan
10Micron’s mounts are now integrated into the 2025–2030 Technology Dossier as the state of the art for European ground stations.

10MICRON Astro Technology, leader in the design and manufacture of ultra-high precision telescope mounts, has been officially selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) for inclusion in the upcoming "European Space Technology Harmonisation" plan. Following rigorous review, 10MICRON now will be formally listed in the Technology Dossier for Ground Stations as a recognized European provider of "Telescope mounts & Gimbals for demanding environments".
This inclusion designates the company’s technology as part of the technology "State of the Art in Europe", positioning 10MICRON as a strategic reference for ESA, its prime contractors, and international partners until 2030.
The Value of ESA Harmonisation
The European Space Technology Harmonisation process is ESA’s primary strategic mechanism for mapping European industrial capabilities. Updated every five years, this framework dictates the standards and approved vendor profiles for major European aerospace initiatives.
10MICRON’s inclusion is the result of a coordinated effort alongside SME4Space - the organization supporting small and medium enterprises in ESA collaborations. Recognizing a technological gap in the previous 2022 dossier regarding advanced enclosure and dome technologies for Laser Communications (LaserCom) and Satellite tracking, 10MICRON drafted and submitted critical documentation addressing these demanding operational needs. The submission was successfully accepted and integrated into the upcoming five-year plan, securing a distinct, independent corporate listing for 10MICRON alongside its specialized products.
