By centralizing all critical logic into a single, specialized unit, we ensure that every 10Micron system delivers professional-grade performance and reliability.

Now in its third iteration, the Control Box V3 evolves from an iconic heritage of modular electronics. By keeping the electronics independent from the mount's body, we provide a stable and future-proofed platform that can be easily updated or serviced, ensuring that our technology remains at the forefront of astronomical research and space applications.

Mechanical Excellence

The system is housed in an independent, portable chassis milled from aeronautical-grade aluminum and finished with a black anodized coating and a professional satin front panel. To ensure durability in demanding environments, all power and data interfaces utilize high-quality, German-made Binder industrial connectors, providing superior protection against moisture, dust, and environmental hazards.

Electrical Architecture

The internal architecture is powered by an advanced ARM-based mainboard that delivers increased computing power and stability. It features a professional 24V DC two-pin Binder power plug and a dedicated external Wi-Fi antenna port for enhanced wireless range. Furthermore, the integration of a dedicated GPS interface with a PPS (Pulse Per Second) signal ensures ultra-precise timekeeping, which is critical for satellite tracking and professional research.

Software & Integration

Running on a dedicated Linux operating system, the proprietary firmware enables sophisticated sky modeling and real-time corrections directly on the hardware.
