Flange Adapter for Clamping Plates, for GM3 & AZ3

This flange adapter is a precise interface designed to facilitate the seamless integration of three distinct dovetail clamping plates onto the GM3000 and AZ3000 mount series. By utilizing this adapter, operators can reliably install the #10M2135 Maxi 4" Clamping Plate, the #10M2085 3" Losmandy Clamping Plate, or the #10M2185 3" Losmandy Clamping Plate XL.

While the physical geometry of the GM3000 and AZ3000 mount heads may technically allow for the direct attachment of these plates, such a configuration is not optimal for professional field operations. The low-profile architecture of our clamping plates results in minimal vertical separation between the plate and the mount body. Consequently, the use of this Flange Adapter is strongly recommended to ensure sufficient ergonomic clearance. This additional spacing is critical for the unobstructed manual operation of the clamping knobs, preventing interference with the mount structure and ensuring a secure, efficient instrument setup.
