PRODUCT OVERVIEW

This Flange Adapter is engineered to provide a seamless interface between the GM4000 & AZ4000 series mounts and our specialized dovetail clamping systems. By utilizing this adapter, operators can securely integrate any of the following three clamping plates into their setup:

  • #10M2135 – 10Micron Maxi 4” Clamping Plate

  • #10M2085 – 3” Losmandy Clamping Plate

  • #10M2185 – 3” Losmandy Clamping Plate XL

Installation & Deployment Notes

While the plates are technically compatible with the mounting surfaces of the GM4000 & AZ4000 series, the low-profile design of the clamping mechanism presents a practical clearance challenge. To ensure sufficient ergonomic "room" for manual operation of the locking knobs, 10Micron strongly advises the use of dedicated flange adapters. These spacers elevate the plate just enough to allow for comfortable and secure tightening in high-torque professional environments.
