PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The 5" Dovetail Clamping Plate is engineered to provide a solid and robust interface for heavy-duty optical configurations, suitable to integrate seamlessly with the 10Micron 5" slide bar (#10M4560). The plate utilizes three high-security locking knobs to ensure a flexure-free connection between the instrument and the mount.
In keeping with our heritage, the plate is CNC-machined from high-grade aluminum and finished with black anodization for maximum durability and aesthetic consistency.
Compatibility and System Integration
While optimized as the standard configuration for the GM4000 & AZ4000 series to handle their maximum payload capacities, its versatile architecture makes it equally suitable for the GM3000 & AZ3000 mounts. This accessory ensures that even the heaviest optical tube assemblies remain perfectly coupled to the mount's axes, preserving the integrity of complex pointing models and ensuring consistent, professional-grade tracking performance across all specialized applications.
