Manufactured in exclusive collaboration with Geoptik, this tripod is a 100% Made in Italy product that embodies our commitment to aesthetic elegance without compromising structural integrity.

Designed with the mobile astronomer in mind, the PEGASUS strikes a deliberate balance between portable light weight and exceptional stability. It serves as the definitive choice for field operations involving the GM2000 Ultraport and Combi series, particularly in configurations where the payload does not reach the mount's maximum limit. While this tripod offers a highly rigid platform for most setups, we recommend the CENTAURUS II tripod for users operating at the absolute peak of the mount's payload capacity to ensure uncompromising performance.

The material selection reflects our dedication to premium quality: the legs are crafted from finely finished beech wood, paired with extendable tips precision-machined of black anodized aluminum. To ensure a secure foundation on varied terrain, the tripod features 80mm diameter polymeric pads connected via a spherical head system, providing stable ground contact. Furthermore, the system’s versatility is extended through a special adapter (#10M1091), which allows the GM1000 HPS mount to be fitted for users seeking an ultra-sturdy, over-engineered configuration for their smaller mount.
